Following on from the fantastic Creatives of North Shields Christmas Collective comes a Summer Solstice celebration. 

 Creatives of North Shields’ Summer Solstice 2025 event will celebrate the longest day of the year and the spirit of life, creativity and community in our area. 

The event will showcase 20 local creatives, offer live entertainment including poetry, a choir and musicians, belly dance, yoga and sound bath workshops, a plant tombola and face painting to create an uplifting summer celebration for residents and visitors. 

The Exchange is also creating a special snacks and cakes menu for the event.  The Summer Solstice is deeply symbolic of renewal, abundance and community.  This event will align with those themes, supporting our mission to champion local artists, makers and performers whist adding a sprinkling of magic and excitement.

 The event will be held at The Exchange 1856 on Howard Street between 12 noon and 4 pm on Sunday 22nd June.
