Supported by Historic England as part of the North Shields 800 celebrations, this summer Globe Gallery is inviting you to take part in a series of creative workshops, led by artist in residence Kitty McKay.

Today, North Shields 800 is announcing a £132,160 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to celebrate and conserve the town’s rich past, as it marks its historic 800th anniversary.
