On Thursday 23 October, The Exchange 1856 will host the world premiere of 800 Years – Here We Are, a music documentary that explores the town’s cultural and musical heartbeat. Fronted, narrated and hosted by Liam Fender, produced and directed by Northeast Fuse and XL Creative Media, and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the North East Combined Authority.

Twelve community projects have received a total of over £11,500 in small grants to celebrate the 800^th anniversary of North Shields in creative, inclusive and inspiring ways.
